At Sun Valley Church, we are committed to the needs of teaching children in a safe, loving atmosphere, where age-appropriate Bible instruction is provided. Our goal in children's ministries is to partner with parents in helping children build a strong foundation for a lifetime of glorifying God. We provide care and classes for children from birth up through 6th grade.
Children Desiring God
At Sun Valley Church, we use Children Desiring God, a children's curriculum from Desiring God Ministries. The curriculum was developed at John Piper's church in Minneapolis, MN. John Piper has written best sellers such as Desiring God, The Justification of God, The Godward Life I and II, and God's Passion for His Glory. We have dedicated, loving volunteers with a desire to care for and nurture the littlest ones as well, from infant to 3 years of age. Our volunteers are all carefully trained and screened and have a true love for and desire to care for the babies of Sun Valley Church.
