The vision of Sunday Seminars comes directly from Ephesians 4: “And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (vv 11-13). In short, Sunday Seminars exist for Christian maturity.
Each Sunday, gifted teachers labor joyfully in the lives of God’s people, whether they are in preschool or have been a part of the Church for decades! Those who come who have not yet trusted in Christ will also be exposed to the Gospel on a weekly basis, that they might know God and begin to walk with Him. The 2019 SUMMER quarter will begin June 2 and end August 25. One large seminar is offered in the Commons. Missions II: Personal Evangelism is an in-depth look at the call of every Christian to witness for Christ with the people in her life, focusing on how to have Gospel conversations and help people know the Savior. Particular attention will be given to engaging questions about the Faith, as well as teasing out objections that are commonly given as barriers to considering the Gospel.
Below are a few of the seminars we’ve recorded; we hope you'll be blessed by God through them:
